Make Noise

Objectives:

The client’s goal was to create a campaign that reflected the social climate in the US. The challenge was to do so without being overtly political and off-brand.

Solution:

My approach was to create a punchy statement that served as a double entendre for both their music brand and the social climate. “Make Noise,” became the slogan placed atop images of artists who used the music to make a social statement throughout time.

Objectives:

Incorporate a UGC component to promote audience engagement

Solution:

Create a hashtag campaign, “#MakeNoise” that encouraged musicians to create music with social commentary and share it online, thus generating traffic to Spotify’s app through network-effects.
